Connecting to the masterserver with the current release

... Doesn’t work out-of the box.

This is because at the time of the release, there was no official master-server! Now there is one and you can do it.

So what we have to do is to tell Arkana-FTS where the current master-server is located. In a future release, this will be set-up by default, of course! But for now, you have to enter the options menu, then go to the network category. There, enter arkana-fts.org as a master-server address. Choose a port between 44912 and 44927, preferably port 44917 and you should be fine.

Now you may connect to the master-server, create an account and come chat with us :) Please tell us in the forum (guest section) if you encounter any problems, as I don’t remember exactly how the options dialog was back then.
